Accessibility at Jumpcity

Jumpcity is committed to making Jumpcity.io and its digital experiences accessible and usable for as many people as reasonably possible.

We continue to evaluate and improve the website so people can understand our information, explore their options, and begin a Property Transition Assessment with fewer barriers.

If you encounter an accessibility issue or need assistance accessing information or completing a website function, please contact us. We want to know where the experience can be improved.

Our Approach

Accessibility is an ongoing part of how we design, build, and maintain Jumpcity.io.

As the website evolves, we aim to use established accessibility practices for navigation, content structure, readability, forms, interactive elements, images, and responsive experiences.

Our development practices are informed by recognized accessibility guidance, including the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG). We do not claim formal conformance to a particular WCAG level, because that requires a completed accessibility audit. We treat accessibility as an ongoing practice rather than a one-time certification.

Accessibility Practices

The following are practices Jumpcity aims to maintain as the website develops:

  • Semantic HTML and a logical heading structure
  • Keyboard-accessible navigation and interactive controls
  • Visible keyboard focus states
  • Sufficient contrast between text and backgrounds
  • Readable typography and spacing
  • Descriptive alternative text for meaningful images
  • Decorative images appropriately excluded from assistive technology where applicable
  • Descriptive link and button labels
  • Properly associated labels and instructions for forms
  • Understandable validation and error messages
  • Responsive layouts that remain usable across screen sizes
  • Support for browser zoom and text enlargement
  • Avoidance of unnecessary motion or interaction-dependent content
  • Content that does not depend solely on color to communicate meaning
  • Accessibility considerations for the Property Transition Assessment

Accessing the Assessment

The Property Transition Assessment is an important part of the Jumpcity experience, and we want people to be able to use it regardless of how they navigate the website.

If an accessibility barrier makes it difficult to complete the assessment online, you are welcome to contact Jumpcity directly so we can help provide another reasonable way to share your situation.

Need Assistance or Found a Barrier?

If you have difficulty accessing any part of Jumpcity.io, encounter a feature that does not work well with assistive technology, or need information provided in another accessible format, please let us know.

When contacting us, it is helpful to describe the page or feature involved and the accessibility problem you encountered. We will use that information to better understand the issue and determine an appropriate response.

You are not required to disclose a disability or medical condition in order to report a website accessibility problem.

Third-Party Experiences

Jumpcity.io may link to or use websites, documents, tools, or services provided by independent third parties. We do not control every aspect of those third-party experiences, but accessibility concerns involving a Jumpcity experience may still be reported to us so we can better understand the issue.

Ongoing Improvement

Jumpcity is still developing, and our website and digital experiences will continue to evolve. Accessibility is part of that ongoing work.

Feedback from people using the site is valuable because automated testing and development standards do not identify every real-world accessibility barrier.
